Mail Order

Customers often ask us if we provide a mail order service. Our simple answer is no, we do not have an online store for customers to purchase from as the majority of products we have in-store are very limited in quantity or are unique items. We also feel that it detracts from the whole experience of visiting Our Handmade Collective and wandering around in our little Aladdin’s Cave of handmade treasures!

However, we do appreciate that not everyone can get to visit us in person so we do always say that if you have spotted something you like on one of our many photos, please send us a quick message and we’ll do our best to help!

Please do bear in mind however that we are a small shop with only one person working most of the time, we are open 7 days a week – and we do get very busy, particularly Thursday through Sunday.  This means that we’re just not able to get out of the shop to the Post Office. Courier services do not work on weekends so any orders to be placed to be mailed out will more than likely be issued between Mondays and Wednesdays!

Thanks for your understanding – we do try to help as much as we can!

Opening Times are Mon-Sat 10.30am-6.00pm, Sun 10.30am-4.30pm. We look forward to meeting you x

  • Emma Womersley T:07919 554 002

I’ve been recommended to contact you by Michelle from Buttons Boutique as I am looking for craft stall holders to attend our school Christmas Fair on Saturday 6th December at Moorlands School from 1-4pm. I was wondering if anyone would like to take a stall as it would be a good opportunity to sell their products along with marketing the Handmade collective. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Emma

  • Is there any way to order from these shops (specifically the Wonderkind dapperdogs) online but not through facbook?
    Many thanks

  • Hello…

I’ve only just discovered your beautiful shop here via your website and your facebook page and from the photos it looks AMAZING.

I myself am a Crafter and make gorgeous Kiss clasp purses as a hobby. I’ve been making my purses for nearly two years now and started out making for friends and family. This soon escalated into more requests and orders to make for their friends and their friends family. I pride myself on quality rather than quantity and make my handmade purses to a very high standard. I never make two purses exactly the same, however some may have the same feature fabric but you are guaranteed the threads, the frame and the rest of the fabrics are never the same. I use good 100% cotton fabrics and the best quality of Fabric glues and other materials needed to complete the finishing touches to my purses. Last year I attended a number of Craft fayres run up to Christmas including the Corn Exchange in Leeds City Centre.

I adore making my purses and would love to know any advise as to how I could tap into selling my purses to Gift Shops such as yourself…

Any advice re marketing my products to gift shops would be very much appreciated.

I have a Facebook page which is called ‘Sew Gorgeously Pretty Boutique’. Feel free to take a look and look through my photos of past purses I’ve made and sold on to ‘Happy Customers’.

Thank you for your time reading this message and look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours sincerely

    Lotte Miller
